Ken Haas has exhibited artwork at the Kalamazoo Gilmore Art Institute and at shows across Michigan, being awarded “First Place Best of Show” by show sponsor, The Kalamazoo Valley Art Association. Mr. Haas studied under a special arrangement with noted muralist and head of the Michigan State University Art Department, Professor Ralf Henricksen. Hundreds of Ken’s black and white ink illustrations have been published nationally and internationally and Ken created the nationally distributed graphic novel “Cult of Psychodead” to favorable reviews. Freelance clients have included Massey Ferguson, YMCA’s, City of West Des Moines, Ankeny Schools, Advanced Technology Group, Davis Publications, and many more. As an ad agency creative, Haas designed animation, innovative 3D direct mail, national print advertising, outdoor, corporate branding campaigns, logo design, Web design, TV spot concepting and illustration. Currently Ken is Media Designer for Homesteaders Life Company and homesteaderslife.com is one of many projects Ken has enjoyed helping develop.
